Alumni Profile: Catching Up with Clark Gegler

Clark Gegler ’08 recently started his third year of high school at Proctor Academy in Andover, NH. He did take a few minutes to touch base with the Development Office before leaving.

Q: How do you like Proctor Academy?

Clark: Love it – this will be an amazing year.

Q: What kind of social and extra-curricular activities do you enjoy at Proctor?

Clark: Band Recording, International Group, Alliance, Football.

Q: How did Inly help prepare you for high school?

Clark: Inly gave me a good foundation to build on.

Q: You spent a semester in Costa Rica last year. What kind of program was that?

Clark: I went with a Proctor and Country Day School program. We had classes combined with experiential opportunities. We lived with local families, traveled to the rain forest, ate the local food – we were totally immersed in the culture.

Q: What are some of your most memorable experiences from your time in Costa Rica?

Clark: Deep sea fishing, the lifestyle, and the beaches.

Q: Do you plan on going to college? What would you like to study?

Clark: Yes – political science.

Q: Do you have a favorite memory of Inly?

Clark: The trip to Sweden during Middle School.

Q: Any other comments or thoughts you would like to share?

Clark: Come to Proctor!
